Cornuda station

Cornuda station is on the Padua–Calalzo line, between Montebelluna and Feltre (Wikipedia, Italian). It’s about 700 m on foot from the town centre (OpenStreetMap routing).

On the weekday we checked, trains towards Venice, Treviso and Padua left Cornuda at 48 minutes past most hours, and trains from Montebelluna arrived at 7 minutes past (Trenitalia). Montebelluna to Cornuda takes 7 minutes.

From Venice by train

There’s no direct train. Three routes work from Venezia Santa Lucia:

  • Via Treviso and Montebelluna: the quickest and cheapest. Example: 07:43 from Santa Lucia, change at Treviso Centrale (08:32) and Montebelluna (09:00), arriving in Cornuda at 09:07. That’s 1 hour 24 minutes for €6.60.
  • Via Castelfranco Veneto: one change. Example: 07:27 from Santa Lucia, change at Castelfranco at 08:36, arriving at 09:07. That’s 1 hour 40 minutes for €7.30.
  • Via Padua: a fast train to Padua, then the direct regional train to Cornuda. About 1 hour 41 minutes to 1 hour 57 minutes; €9.00 with a regional train to Padua, €23.50 with a Frecciarossa.

Watch for “BU” on some journeys via Treviso. On the weekday we checked, a few Treviso–Montebelluna legs ran as a replacement bus, which added about 20–30 minutes (for example, 08:13 from Santa Lucia, arriving at 10:07).

Coming back: the last train from Cornuda on that weekday left at 21:48, reaching Santa Lucia at 23:34 via Padua (€23.50) or 23:59 via Treviso (€6.60). The first train left at 05:32.

On Sundays there are fewer trains. On Sunday 25 October 2026, departures from Santa Lucia reached Cornuda about every two hours, taking 1 hour 24 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes.

From Venezia Mestre, the 08:40 via Castelfranco reached Cornuda at 10:07, in 1 hour 27 minutes, for €7.30. Via Treviso the fare is €5.85.

From Padua and Treviso

  • Padova: a direct regional train leaves at 7 minutes past the hour and takes exactly 1 hour, for €6.60 (08:07 → 09:07, and hourly through the day on the weekday we checked).
  • Treviso Centrale: change at Montebelluna. Most trains leave Treviso at 32 minutes past the hour and reach Cornuda 35 minutes later, for €4.05. Some departures at 8 minutes past use a replacement bus to Montebelluna and take 59 minutes.

From the airports

Venice Marco Polo has no railway station. Trenitalia sells a bus to Venezia Mestre plus trains to Cornuda as one ticket. OpenStreetMap routing estimates without traffic, checked 14 October 2026. A car is the easy way to combine Cornuda with Asolo, Maser, Possagno and Valdobbiadene, all within 17 minutes. If you drive, the driver can’t taste much; a tour avoids that.

Buses to Asolo and Valdobbiadene

We couldn’t confirm a bus from Cornuda itself to either town. From Montebelluna station, 7 minutes from Cornuda by train, MOM bus 112 reaches Asolo – Ca’ Vescovo, below the old town, in about 27 minutes. On Sundays and holidays line 112 runs only one bus each way (MOM timetables, valid from 12 October 2026).

For Valdobbiadene and the vineyards, plan on a car, a taxi booked ahead or a tour. A self-guided e-bike tour into the Prosecco hills starts in Cornuda; see tours.
